Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 March 2026

1. About GreenLottery

GreenLottery is a lottery operated in support of green and environmental initiatives. By purchasing a ticket or subscribing, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
  • You must be a current UK resident. This lottery is not open to persons residing outside the United Kingdom.
  • Employees, directors, and immediate family members of GreenLottery are not eligible to enter.
  • By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. Tickets purchased by persons who are not UK residents are void and any prize will not be paid. Non-compliant payments will be refunded.

3. Ticket Purchases

  • Tickets are priced as displayed at the time of purchase.
  • Payment is processed securely via PayPal. Your PayPal transaction ID serves as your unique ticket number and proof of purchase.
  • Tickets are non-refundable once payment is confirmed, except as required by law.
  • Each purchase creates a single entry identified by its unique PayPal transaction ID. Higher-value purchases have proportionally better odds of winning: a £10 purchase is five times more likely to win than a £2 purchase.
  • Ticket purchases do not guarantee entry into any specific draw — tickets must be in INPLAY status at the time the draw is prepared.

4. Subscriptions

  • Monthly subscription plans automatically allocate tickets for each draw cycle.
  • Subscriptions are processed through PayPal and are subject to PayPal's own billing terms.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • GreenLottery reserves the right to cancel or modify subscription plans with reasonable notice.

5. The Draw

  • Draws are conducted by GreenLottery at scheduled intervals as announced on the website.
  • Winners are selected by a cryptographically secure random process (Node.js crypto module), ensuring fairness and impartiality.
  • The result of each draw is final and binding.
  • All draw tickets and results are archived and available for verification.
  • GreenLottery reserves the right to delay or cancel a draw in exceptional circumstances, with notice provided to participants.

6. Prizes

  • The prize for each draw is calculated as a multiple of the ticket values in that draw, as displayed on the website at the time of the draw.
  • Prizes will be transferred to the winner via PayPal within 14 days of the draw date.
  • Winners must provide a valid PayPal account to receive their prize. GreenLottery is not liable for prizes unclaimed due to invalid payment details.
  • Unclaimed prizes after 30 days will be forfeited and donated to GreenLottery's environmental fund.
  • GreenLottery reserves the right to publish the winner's first name and ticket number for transparency purposes.

7. Use of Proceeds

A portion of all ticket revenue, after prizes and operating costs, is directed to environmental and green initiatives. GreenLottery will publish periodic summaries of funds raised and their allocation.
